Been there a couple of times.

Australia had an airforce base there at Butterworth for many many years and used to rotate soldiers through as the resident rifle company on 3 month tours.

KL is an ok place.

listening to others comment will make you hesitate to entering one country.. as for me, i just go there if i feel like to.. i've heard that people say it is not safe to walk alone in New York City.. but hey, look at me, am still alive.. and people say India is a bad place to be.. i admit, that you might feel uncomfortable being there because they tend to stare at you all the time.. but still a great place to be.. once in your life experience at least.. and people say sydney is a good place, as for me it is not!!! i lost my wallet after i left the bus.. maybe there is pick pocket there.. so, its up to you actually to decide either the country is a good place or not.. go there and judge the country base on your experience, not others!!! anyway, have a nice journey.. :-)

Yes I've been there, numerous times. Its a nice place to shop, eat and enjoy the beautiful beaches. It is rich in culture and diversity. Its a tourist haven I must say.

I travelled to many countries, nothing as warm as malaysia.

People are friendly and food is good...

You won't regret..trust me!

We just stopped over in KL for a couple of nights. I didnt really like it there. It was damn near impossible to cross the road. the bus from the airport tried to cheat us. there wasnt any ham on the hawaiian pizza...
