Ok, this may sound kinda dumb....
I have a school ball t go to tomorrow night. From 8pm to 12am. And I just bought some high heeled shoes. How do I walk in them without looking stupid? The heel on them is really little and I find it hard to balance as I never wear shoes like that. I got suggested heel-toe heel-toe but I go all wobbly and just about fall over when doing that. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

it's kind of a heel-toe walk, but put more of your weight on the balls of your feet/toes until you get used to walking in them. practice for a bit before the ball, obviously. when you put your weight on the balls of your feet, don't lean all the way forward, or walk on your tip-toes. keep the heels on the ground, just don't try and put all your weight over the heel part of the show, as that will make it hard to balance. eventually, your body will just adjust naturally and you'll be walking in heels w/out even thinking about it. good luck and have fun!

Walk around on your toes in bare feet for a while and then when you wear the heels, walk on the ball of your foot. You're less likely to fall over this way. As soon as you put weight on your heel, you are going to wobble...so put all your weight on the ball of your foot. The arch and ball of your foot is going to hurt by the end of the night but beauty is pain right ? :) Next time try to practice walking in heels using all of your foot so you wont have to worry next time :) Have fun

Wear them in your house. Practice going back and fourth and sometimes fast and jerky because that's what it will be like when you are dancing. And if you still can't get it down.. Wear different shoes.. Or if it's a casual dance.. Take of your shoes maybe? If no one else is. Tell your friends to so you don't look stupid. Well good luck!

I have trouble walking in heels as well...the best advice i ever got was to walk on my toes with my posture straight and head held high. It works wonders!

Try walking around in them and get use to it. If you don't, you might want to wear some other shoes. You don't want to fall and embarrass yourself

practice practice practice! if the shoes are still to difficult to walk in, go with flats, or tell your date you cant danc in the shoes or that you get nervous when you dance. maybe he will hold on to you and make sur you don't fall.

:) well you have to practice first, start walking and holding a rail...
when you think you have mastered the basic then let go of the rail and start walking around your house or something!
you'll get use to it! :]]
go and practice....NOW! ^_^

try this...i know it sounds stupid but it works.
start off slowly...
now, walk in them toe FIRST, and THEN heel.
it looks sexier, and it will help you balance more.
if it doesnt work for you, than i am sorry!!!
