How can I make my Sims2 game run faster?
I have the sims2 and every expansion pack except for Bon Voyage installed. I was wondering how I could make the game run faster because right now all of the sims games on it makes it run soooo slow like sometimes I'll watch an entire T.V. show while I wait for it to load. How can I make it run faster?
Oh also, my computer usually runs really fast and I mean the game when really fast when I just had one or two sims games installed but I really love the expansion pacs and don't want to uninstall them.

I have all the EPs and SPs installed, that doesn't slow the game down...the 34000 pieces of custom content does. Do you have an things you've downloaded? Getting rid of those will speed your load time up. Mine is generally an hour by the way, but under five minutes if I remove the Downloads folder.

you could try defragmenting start > all programs > accessories > system tools > defragmenter. that helps speed things up sometimes. you could also try buying more ram but that costs lol
