Help me! OK soI had like light brown hair with some reddish highlighs(sun in) and now today I decided to dye it a light dark brown. OK so I just finished dying it and I HATE IT! It like kinda black, sort of purple! OMG HELP! It looks so ugly and I hate the color. I cant afford to go to a salon and get the color removed I just want to go back to my original color. Please help me! Is there a product I can buy at a drugstore that would do the trick? Please help me! My hair looks so awful and I have a family party at my house tomorrow at 12 pm. What product can I buy to get this crap out of myhair! Please help me! It looks awful!

Ouch. =\
Coloring it too soon after a recent coloring can be really bad for your hair.
Try to accelerate color fading - hot water is known to fade chemically colored hair, some volume shampoos and gels may help fade color (they are designed to open the hair cuticle which speeds up color loss).

Dear OMG!
Go to a Sally's and get 'color remover'. Follow the directions on the box. and there are a lot of directions. Once you have the color bleached up to a yellowish tone, wash out the remover.
Next, CONDITION WITH A TREATMENT. This is a must. Filling the hair with a treatment will allow the new color to deposit evenly.
Then back to Sally's and get a toner or semi-permanent color. Do not buy a perninant color. They contain ammonia. Don't worry, the semi-permanant color will be permenant after the color removal...
Buy a 7N brown. Do NOT buy a green base color. Leave on for 15 minutes and do a conditioning treatment AGAIN to help the color stay in.
You should be all better after that..

Yes,it is called color remover. After you use it,you will have to put more hair dye in your hair to get it back to the color you want. It would be just as cheap to go get it done at a beauty school. The instructors would be showing the student what to do every step of the way. And also they would have better products to use.(Also conditioning that you don't have at home!) Your hair is already very damaged. You can't afford to take any more chances. It could fall out! So the best thing to do,would be to get there as soon as they open in the morning.
This is way more cost effective as well as saving your hair so it don't break off or turn to mush!

Go to Sally beauty supply and get Color Zap, I just used it a few weeks ago and it worked great, and you can color your hair right after the same color it was before. Just read the label and directions. If you go to Sally's website you can go to the hair section, then color and then color remover and read what other people have used and worked well for them, that is how I found ColorZap...good luck and condition condition condition!!!

I saw it in a magazine. I think you are right it is called Color Oops! Do you have an ULTA near you - they are usually able to give advice. Probably any Beauty Supply store would be able to help.
