I haven't had this problem yet...but sometimes when I try answering a question it doesn't work. Y!A has been having a lot of problems lately! It's really starting to bother me! Like when it freezes for a day lol. Every "Am I Pretty" question I try to answer it's deleted =] and some questions have like 1000 answers and stars already.
Idk, hopefully they'll sort things out soon.

There is a problem when you use some special symbols within an answer. It has been a few days now and it has not been fixed yet. I know it occurs with a percent sign. I am positive of that. Try spelling out any special symbols. You can then go back and edit the answer and change them back to the actual symbol if desired later.
NOTE: I have also heard that the error may occur when you reach your answer limit instead of the normal message. There is a 20 answer limit at level 1 and the error starts occuring when you reach that point.

No. Sometimes Y!A gives problems like that. YOur question probably was too long. So what you do next time is cut your question in half and then submit. When you submit, go and add additional details to finish your question.
For some weird reason, this works.
