How can I locate files on my computer based on last access time and/or havent been used in along time?

Need a program or a script I can run to scan my computer files and show me large files that are just sitting around taking up space on my harddrive. I want to just back these up to an external drive and free up some local disk space. Any suggestions?

    Pretty simple:

    To find all files modified in the last 24 hours (last full day) in current directory and its sub-directories:

    $ find . -mtime -1 -print

    Modify the time as required. You can also use ctime, and atime :)
