Do you wish you had more gay friends, in real life, than you already do?

You woul be surprise. I am straight but always end up as my gay friend's aunty, they would tell me things, from their clothes to their relationships...i suppose my best and closest friends are gay and I really don't mind that at all. Friendships to me is not dictated by someone's sexual orientation, it is how one person can bond with someone else. I suppose some of my gay friends know that I am trustworthy and will not '*****' about them (yes, i picked up some of the slang along the way ... lol) In fact i am grateful to have gay friends as they would give me a makeover every month on how to dress to impress and look good....we straight guys somehow do not have the brains to look good....and one thing I find so comfrtable about my gay friends is that they care about me more than my straight friends...they would call up and drop by when I am sick or in hospital but my straight friends would say: hey i didn't know you were sick / in hospital. So I really like gay friends very much.

Well I have a lot of gay "virtual" friends but in real life my gay friends are 6 or less, it's a shame to read about you don't have any. Friends are the only family we can chose so get out there and discover what marvellous is having friends. Your straight friends will never understand gay "issues" like the way a gay friend does. don't be afraid of looking for a gay friend I'm sure there's one for you out there.

Yes and no. I imagine I do, but almost every single time I meet someone new they either want nothing except to get in my pants or else (or both) they turn out to be full of drama or are having a never ending self pity crisis. So almost every time I meet someone new (who is gay) I wish I hadn't.

I wish I had more gay friends with whom I could actually be "friends" instead of being an object or a receptacle for their woes and drama.

I have a couple. But one is so stereotypical and promiscuous all he wants do and talk about is sex. The other is so vain and he doesn't know when he's gone to far. I only have two best friends & they're like sisters to me. I'm happy with what I have. I wish I could find a boyfriend though...

i know exactly how you feel

at the moment im friends with gay and straight people but at first when i wasnt out i would only hang out with straiight people after i came out i befriended gay/les/bi...etc... anyways the thing with me tho is even tho i love htese people and would die wiothout then the main conversation we ever have is about gay things...literally all we talk about is matters that concern sexuallity

but i dont feel comfortable talkin about these things with my straight friends so ya...stuck somewhere in the middle

if you ever really need someone to about anything you just need one good friends no matter what their orientation is because a friend will be there to listen to you and love you and eventually make fun of you out of love <3

Well, I do wish I had more gay friends, but I am happy with the friends I have because I think 2 or 3 of them are gay and most of the rest are bi so I am still happy. oh, and i am trying to talk with one of them too, lol.

I know exactly how you feel and agree.I am gay and also a crossdresser and i have lots of friends who are straight and they all are cool with what and who i am,but there are only certain things that i gan talk with them about.The good thing about having gay friends is we can talk about anything,nothing is taboo ar gross to them,and i always wish i had so many more gay friends

All of my friends are straight (as far as I know) . So yeah I honestly wish I had a some gay friends.
