Give them to me- I have a vacuum sealer that can vacuum-pack & seal any type of bag, including the mylar chip bags & whatnot. I save my bags & reuse them. http://www.sorbentsystems.com/sinbosealer.html

Give the junk food to your or your friend's dog.

For the alumin foil and plastic packaging, even the sauce packs, go to www.earth911.org.

I put ALL my plastic bags in a huge plastic tote and take them to the plant near me, because they do take plastic bags at that one.

Potatoe chip bags, yes. Candy wrappers, yes. Candy bar wrappers, yes. Ketsup packets, (so long as they are totally cleaned inside and out. I use scissors, cut along edge and then wash in the sink and dry) yes. All go in my tote and get taken down to the recycling plant.

Styrefoam goes to another one I go to, abot 5 miles in the other direction. This is what all our to-go boxes are made of. Packing peanuts are strefoam too.
