Emachines computer won't turn on
the moniter, printer, and speakers will all turn on (and are plugged into the same power supply) but the computer wont turn on. I know that you're going to tell me that Emachines are cheap, but does anyone have an idea of what went wrong and if the computer can be fixed. I really dont want to loose my itunes.
is there any way that i can see if the motherboard and power supply are blown without taking it into a computer repair shop?

eMachines are notorious for having bad power supplies. I've put a link below to a message board where people are discussing your problem. The fix could be as simple as replacing the power supply, but sometimes a bad power supply will destroy the mother board. You should Google your exact eMachines model to see what people are saying about it.
I used to own an eMachines that failed to turn on one day. I had my files backed up; so I just bought a new Dell.

It happend to my moms emachines the buttion were you push to turn it on came lose inside the computer you have to take the side panle off and find the lose cord.
