Do you know anyone who is becoming a Citizen?

My husband I have been married for over 40 years, and he has green card. He would tell ME who to vote for. Brother. I kept urging him to apply for citizenship and be counted. Finally he will be sworn in, and I'm so excited. America is the best country in the world! Do you know anyone who is taking that big step!

Congratulations! That is a big effort on both parts. My mom received her citizenship two years ago this month after being in this country for over 50 years. She studied with my dad for a long time and they both kept it quiet until after she passed the test. Congratulations once again!

Not at the moment but that is awesome!

Make him a big dinner and a cake!!

A girl that worked where I got my nails done was studying for her exam.. her English was not that good so every time I went in there, she would hand me her study sheet which was in English and Vietnamese, and I would quiz her in English so she would be ready.. sometimes I would try to say the questions in Vietnamese and all the girls would laugh at me...

but it was cool to see someone so excited about citizenship....

Congratulations to your husband! I have a friend from India who recently became an American citizen and I'm very proud of him. He's a real asset to this country - very honest and hard working.
