  • If you really MEAN doo-wop, then you're talking mostly music from about 1950-1962.

    The site below has a pretty good list of 100 doo-wop songs.

    If you really just mean "oldies" then I'd go with the 2 CD American Graffiti soundtrack, a couple good Motown compilations, a CD of Elvis Presley hits, and the soundtrack to Forrest Gump and you'll have a pretty good set of stuff to play without bringing a ton of discs.

    If you are bringing a computer and playing MP3s...or burning CDs to take, I'll give you my own personal 100 suggestions for a general oldies list (I did 10 years of oldies radio):

    "My Boy Lollipop" by Millie Small Released in 1964 I believe. Edit: Missed the line that said it wasn't that song-Sorry! :) Try: Goodship Lollipop...hmmmm
