Dealer sold me a bad Jeep!?
I bought a 95 jeep grand cherokee from a buy here pay here lot! It drove fine during the test drive. Now less than 2 wks later the transmission is slipping and there's a loud chirping sound coming from the engine when i go down the road! It had a 3 month/ 3000 mile warranty on it! I called today and they said the warranty only covers if the transmission goes out completely not for the transmission slipping!
What are my options legally?

It depends on what state you live in, the laws are a little different from state to state. Most states do have a "lemon law". First you need to go have the transmission looked at, have them give you a printed invoice of the estimate & diagnosis; then you need to go back to the dealer & speak to the sales manager only (armed w/ your invoice) explain to them your situation. Very nicely give them the option to either remedy the situation or you will be seeking the advice of an attorney. Good luck.

Take it back to the dealership, make a scene! I did that and they gave me back my old car and fixed the damn thing for me.
I bought a car, like you said, it was fine. Everything seemed great, but only after a week of having that car I found that it had some needed repairs, I called the dealership and they said they couldn't do anything about it.
I took the car in, went in, and made a big scene. Cried, and told them that they sold me a sh**ty car, and all the employees were embarrassed and the customers were looking with shocked faces; I got them good, they fixed the car for me plus let me take my old car back!

Well, you rad your contract when you sign the papers, so what does that say in regards to getting a transmission replaced???
You got the rig inspected after your test drive, so what did the mechanic find out?
What? You didn't do either? Too bad. Best hope that contract has terms that are in your favor.

HI
I'd call the BBB and the attorney general. If its slipping it is going out..
actually I think there is a LAW called consumer protection law or Lemon law protecting the consumer against this kind of stuff.
good luck
