How to know if the guy you barely know likes you ?

Ive met this guy. He approached me and after that we would chat briefly. He is so open and hes always talkin and asking question about me. Ad everytime i see him he alwasy ask if i have a man. im too shy to even look at him while hes talks to me. Ive made it obvious i liked him though by the way i always blush and look for him and stuff. Recently i went to the store he works at and he was there and he autmatically started hollaing at me ( he would try to get my attention by psstting at me and what not ) and he came up to me and i was on the phone and my friend was right next to me. so he was lyk i was calling you and you didnt even pay attention, i was ready to tell him that i liked him for a whole year already but i barely know him. but i got so shy and was like leave me alone. without hesatation he asked me what happend what did he do to get me mad and he layed his hand on my arm. ME being a retard i pulled away and told him that i dnt even know him for him to be touching me. His co workers told him to leave me alone. He llooked dissapointed. And i stood in the store for a couple of extra minutes. He was telling his freidn something and they both kept on glancing over at me, his freind was going to approach me when i decided tyo leave. IM AN IDIOT but he makes me so nervous omg. But i really like him. After an hour or so i passed by the stroe again and he was still trying to holla at me. SO im confused does he like me or do ya think he a player !?? And how do i tell him i like him. MY horoscope told me that in the beg. of august i would atart a relationship that would get serious fast. and august 4th was wen that happend and he looks lyk the guys that take stuff fast. So What do you guys think !???

Tell your horoscope to shut up and ask him if you can talk to him privately; apologize about the incident at the store.
Umm okay yeah like.. Try to make things up with him and get to know him a bit more, like hang out and stuffs.
gradually tell him a bit everyday that you like him, but discretely;
If he's not a player, wait for the moment to tell him you do like him
Or whatever you'd rather do

From personal experience i can tell you that horoscopes are a load of ****, however it could happen, you really only have 2 options, 1 keep swing by and hope that he will ask you out or overcome your fear and ask him out, it should help if you bring some friends with you, also either way your going to have to overcome your fear, otherwise it will never work.

Be patient!
Then, do not tell him that you like him! Just let him approach you the way you prefer, like no touching please! He will respect you more if he is a good guy..
After he approaches you, decide how to act according to that .. train yourself not to say things you do not mean .. silence helps sometimes ..

He sounds like he is a huge flirt, and he knows that you like him.  He sounds like a player and I think he would just use you for what he could get.  Forget about him.

im a player for myself lol n i know how it is. he might be a player but he likes you. you are shy?? i love shy girls but sometimes they turn me off so dont be always shy and move on because he likes u...for now, dont ask yourself if he is a player or not, go out with him then if he ignores your calls and texts then u can say to him: "YOU ARE TOO UGLY TO GO OUT WITH ME" lol he wont be a player anymroe (if he is)

i think you need to apologize to him. the boy obviously likes you because i would really not talk to you if you treated me like that in my work place or in front of my friends. he likes you and you need to get out of your shy mood and tell him. write a letter if youre to shy to tell him in person and take it to him in the store or get his number so you guys can start talking or texting.. good luck!
