i just asked a question on volleyball, help me w/ this one??
so my friend is kinda stupid lol and said that he could find some guys to take on some actually volleyball player girls, i believe were doing 5 on 5 but my friends and I have never played volleyball in our lives while some of the girls play on the volleyball team in such...i dont really wanna lose either do my friends cuz we will kinda feel embarass i know females can hang w/ the boys i got that but still feel embarass, cant back out cuz then we look like poosys so the question is how do we get kinda good at volleyball by sunday? thanks and im 5'6 and 1/2 or so, so what should i play like in the middle, spike the beast lol and what are the rules to the game?? hit the ball once per teammate or what, we dont wanna look like fools out there cuz we do have a bet on it and should i wear gloves lol sounds weird but when i played it in gym once my hands were killing me or is wearing gloves just gonna make me look like a fool and were all teens?? Thanks and last question, do we actually have any chance if they all play volleyball??

Hey, Varsity captain two years in a row speaking here. uhm. Hit it once per person. You can only hit it three times on one side of the net, it needs to go over on the third hit. Then keep your hands together to bump, (hand in hand, no lacing, or crossing thumbs.) If you can spike, do it on the third hit. If someone spikes the ball on your side, you can put both your hands up, right next to the net and block it, and if you touch it, and it still comes over to your side it doesn't count as a hit. uhmmmm..... Let me give you some advice bro... it's NOT as easy as it looks.
First off... 3 hit volleyball is a must. By that, I mean you need to have 3 people touch the ball before it goes over.
example:
ball goes over net
one guy bumps the ball to a setter who is usually right under the net in almost in the middle of the court.
the setter sets up the ball to one of the 3 people in the front who play left (strong) middle and right (weak)
if these girls are good...they will probably cream you. Seeing as you are 5'6..i am assuming you are in highschool so your not that tall at all.

ps: always use 2 hands unless spiking :)
best for you newbies to not try spiking, just get the ball over the net lol
