i listen to screamo ?

Question

i have 2 diffrent set of friends the football guys (im on my school football team) and the punk group but im not punk or emo at all i were abercrombie  nike under armour aka sporty and prep and i listen 2 screamo heavy metal stuff and my football friends hate it and there always saying dont listen to that its stupid and dont hang with them and they say dont go emo on us and some of kids at school think i cut because i listen to the music stupid right what should i do

I'd start by asking this question in a different category. But since you already asked it here my answer would be that I wouldn't do anything. Just be who you want to be and don't worry about what others think.

I was a skater punk in highschool and kicked it with everyone from the class president to cheerleaders to kids on the baseball team to the metal heads and the hippies. I even hung out with a couple of really cool special ed kids. It doesn't matter and the more people you hang out with the more well rounded you become.

I think you should tell your football friends to **** off and don't judge you because of your music or other friends. What are they listening to that's so much better?? Music is personal and they should have enough respect to let you have other things in your life than football.

you should tell them "hey if you guys are my friends then maybe you shouldnt judge me or others by the way they look or the type of music they listen to,you guys are known a jocks and some people think right off hand that your stupid (which they probably dont like) and if i was cutting myself wouldnt you notice a slight depression in me or me having mood changes, so dont label me because labeling is stupid and pointless and just another way to separate everyone" you should be able to hang with anyone you please no matter what their labeled.

honestly u gotta learn that people are always gonna have there opinions....everyones like that at my school too...i used to be on the cheer team and my favorite bands are escape the fate and bring me the horizon(if you dont kno them look them up there great) people are like omg ur emo nd no im not...my boyfriend is the running back for my school and we just went to a slipknot conert....people need to learn to shut the **** up and stop judging and labeling people....

My husband listens to that stuff and it drives me loopy! i like my honest proportion of harder middle music, yet screaming lunatic music makes me incredibly annoying and experience adverse and under pressure. I hate it. i do no longer additionally be responsive to how that is talked approximately as music incredibly. i do no longer enable him pay attention to it in the motor vehicle the place the babies will pay attention reason i do no longer elect it effecting them negatively.

If they took the time to actually listen to the music they would notice that not only does it rock but it usually has extremely deep lyrics that totally make the songs amazing
