What are your thoughts on....?

Pattern jury instructions?

I am interested to hear some pros and cons on this topic. I am currently studying this in college and would like some other people's opinions on the subject.

Thanks.

I think they are good because they take out the bias a potential judge could have towards the case. Pattern instructions are normally those from a community of attorneys who find them to be the most approriate for any given situation. I believe that taking as much as possible out of the hands of the judge keeps them neutral and allows them only the ability to apply the law.
