Boxer, flashy fawn markings question.?

I am not sure how to do a photo bucket and don't have time to figure it out so i need to ask this. I am looking at a boxer puppy that i'm thinking about buying. there are 2 things that concern me about his appearance that I want to get your opinions on. His arms are not symetrical in color. his left is a white paw only, and his right is white from about 1 inch under his chest and down.

Also, his face is white around the nose and face with black about a 3/4 of an inch off of the nose, however, he has areas of gray connecting his nose from the black. I am looking at some of the real expensive boxer puppies online for sale and they have a real clean looking white face, This pup certainly don't. Does this just mean he's somewhat of an ugly dog, maybe not a true breed or what? if you really need to seee a pic to get an honest opinion please leave me your email and let me forward you these pics of him.

He sounds fine. All boxers have slightly different markings.

If this bothers you why not get one you find attractive then?

That pup is ADORABLE!!! And it's completely fine. There's nothing wrong and it's a pure breed.

I don't advise buying a pup online--is this from someone where you can visit the home and meet the parents of the pups? If someone won't let you see the pups or the home where they live you want to find someone one else.

    Otherwise, this pup is perfect!!!

If you are looking for a boxer that is a show quality dog, then you definitely want to invest time in studying the standard to see what is desired in the markings. You need to get your puppy for a reputable breeder who is knowledgeable about your questions. Many fawn boxers have asymmetrical markings, some don't have any white, some have a huge mask, some are virtually all brown. Coloration is a poor indicator of a dog being "purebred." Again, if you buy from a reputable breeder who DNA tests her studs and only breeds one type of dog and takes very good care of her dogs then you are going to get what you want. Buying from a backyard breeder doesn't mean anything... it could be a mix even if it has AKC paperwork... A litter can have more than one father and an irresponsible breeder will not necessarily realize this or care.

You can contact the boxer club of america for information regarding the standard, try to educate yourself on the breed enough to make an educated decision, or you can contact reputable breeders through the boxer club of america and get a puppy from one of them.

I would go with a reputable breeder.

Fawn refers to a reddish brown rust shade. flashy refers back to the white markings on the face chest neck and paws. The AKC does not comprehend for the teach ring any boxer having greater beneficial than one third finished bodyin white. verify refers back to the underlying darkish splashes interior the flash element of the coat.

NO dog has completely symmetrical collaring, it may LOOK like it, but it is always a fraction of a centimeter different than the other, its natural.

Mis colorings doesn't make a dog ugly. My dogs are all discolored and non-symmetrical, and none of them are ugly.

If you like the dog, get it. If not, don't get it. Its not really difficult.
