Is it true that Russian troops said?

Is it true that Russian troops said

"We can tell Americans trained Georgian troops because they run away from the fight"

I heard that on the news. Is that true. If it is I am disgusted. They think they're badass because they're conquering a small nation.

Update:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/georgia_russia

"This is Abkhazian land," one of them said. Another laughed that Georgians retreating from Abkhazia had received "American training in running away."

I guess it is true. What do you think of this cheap statement? I'm disgusted.....

Update 2:

"Peace through Submission",

You're lucky enough to get a response because you're a bigot. For your information we won the Korean war. The objective was to keep South Korea stabilized and we did.

Want to know the difference between guerrilla warfare war with the Russians. American troops know who they're shooting at. Guerrilla warfare is for cowards which is what the Vietnamese were. The only difference with the Russians is they are actually foolish enough to fight our elite troops.

Update 3:

Birdie, I am full away of what is going on. No need to lecture me on it. I know Georgians attacked first. But the response from Russia was disproportionate. The Russians were already mad at Georgia anyways for wanting to join NATO so it looked like the Russians were just looking for a reason to take Georgia.

Update 4:

Sure buddy, you keep thinking they want nothing to do with Georgia. Oil Oil Oil Oil

I guess from what you said that you have no idea what has been happening over there. Russia did not "attack" Georgia. They kicked the Georgian troops OUT of South Ossetia! Georgia had attacked South Ossetia that had broken off in 1992 from Georgia. Most are Russian citizens with Russian passports and if they cannot get recognized by the UN prefer to join Russia. North Ossetia is in Russia and is populated with the same ethnic group as South Ossetia. There are less than 10% of Georgians living in their country.

The training that the Russians were talking about is well known to anyone that has better media than the US. The US and Israeli's have been running war games and training the Georgian Army. The Commander of the Georgian Army is in fact a dual passport Israeli.Condi Rice visited Georgia in July near the end of the training exercises.

You bet the Russians were watching that training on their border. The US wants to put a missile base there also. Same thing happening in the Ukraine.

I'd check out what has been going on before you get disgusted. Try the BBC. They have a video that shows the Russians walking around the capitol of South Ossetia that Georgia attacked. You can see for yourself that they attacked civilians and hospitals etc. The Russians saved those people...They want nothing to do with Georgia.

EDIT I checked your website ...those aren't Russians! They are Abkhazakians which is another separatist area that doesn't want to be part of Georgia. They probably felt emboldened by the action over in Ossetia. They have also been autonomous since the 1990's but they aren't aligned in any way with the Ossetians - different ethnic groups...

First of all, Georgia began it all by amassing troops to conquer Abkhazia, a Russian breakaway region and Russia simply defended its territory and to drive them away and settle on a treaty, take Georgia and the saying was for morale

Coming from a "Abkhazian", a group of people/province of just over 100,000 people that are so incompetent that they have been relegated over the years to breeding and herding goats for a living, I laugh at this statement. At first I was pissed until I researched who they are and what they do and they are total failures. They are a province within a province within a country who barely can keep somewhat of a rather nebulous autonomy. It would take only about ten US soldiers to take out their particular entire army.

I think it's a bad idea to get emotionally involved with what soldiers on opposing sides of a war are saying about each other. As if you were watching a basketball game.

the afgans where trained by American troops, the russian army got ther butts handed to them.

Well, the American soldiers wear their flag on their uniforms so that it appears correct only when they are in retreat!

Lol, if that was said, he spoke the truth

Edit: Rich my boy, you claimed racial superiority over them which is not odd, but dont forget that the vietnamese and koreans were just rice farmers so i think goat farmers would be a step up.

I'm disgusted that the media is trying to make Russia seem as though they did something wrong, when Georgia (the USA's ally) cast the first stone.
