What is it like living in New York?
I have lived in the australian bush all my life,whats it like to live in an appartment right in the middle of a big city?
It,s great living in the bush,quiet our nerest nabour is 20kms away,the wet season is very hot and muggy,we some times can get flooded in for a week or 2,the wild life you see every day is amazing we have most things people in town have,24 hr power mail service internet

It is awful!
It is claustrophobic!
It is being ignored when talking, step on when you fall, scream at for no reason, because New York is the worst place on the entire earth. I lived there for a while and go there often for business and I just cannot stand it.
The temperature is either Way too Hot or Why too Cold, nothing in the middle, and very, but very humid and muggy. People walk fast, almost running like chickens with no heads, they are always serious, obnoxious, and they are the people that has the Lowest Education in the entire USA, meaning extremely rude, no manners what-so-ever, and they can accidentally hit you or step on you and never but ever say "Excuse me" or "I'm sorry". Never.
To rent "a room" and room only, you must pay $ 800.00 to 1,200 dollars per month, imagine an apartment as you want...
Awful. Awful place that people makes it even worse.
It is called "A Transient City" because people never stays for long. And, I don't blame them at all...
If you want to go for a visit, it's great. Living in New York is a total and different thing. Believe me and don't make the mistake I made. People that lives there would Never tell you the truth...

I live in New York State, in Long Island, an island next to NYC.
ITS AMAZING!!!!
We live on an island, we got beaches and parks and everything and if we are bored, just take the train to NYC

I have, a ton of fun in NYC
then again, I'm 16.. and probably a 40/50 year old whose settled down may like somewhere quieter, less busy, noisy, etc.

its dirty, its hot in the summer, people bug you and are rude....everything is expensive...its crowded and busy...everything takes forever. the culture is really nice though. thats if you are talking like the actual city...grenwich village for example is a lot different.

depends what parts... some are alot nicer than others... some parts are amazing and is a little city inside the big city... others are worse

it depends theres different parts the bronx brooklyn manhattan but its allright
