Best Laptop Brand to Buy?

hey If I would buy a laptop at best buy I would try to avoid gateway.A friend of mine had a bad experience with his. Acer is good but not great as I've heard in previous models that they overheat quite easily and the owners have to buy a notebook chill mat that goes underneath the laptop. I would recommend an hp laptop, toshiba, and definately sony. It depends on your budget also. Laptops this year are much cheaper than last year so I would definately buy one this month as back to school offers,instant savings, and rebates are in stores right now. I like hp's laptops because of the glossy screens they have. I myself have a sony laptop for about and year and a half, no problems whatsoever. If you do buy a warranty for the laptop,just remember you have 30 days to purchase it.

So just shop around to find the best deal when you decide on what brand youll buy..

Acers are cheaply built and can damage easily if you are not careful with it. But the same can be said for most laptops nowdays...

Sony's are probably the best built. But they do cost a little more. You pretty much get what you pay for.

But no matter what laptop you get, if yur going with windows... vista is probably going to be your biggest problem.

So it doesnt matter what brand you get, windows vista will give you problems before your hardware does most likely.

haha. i had a bad experience with my mac too. i got the REALLY thin laptop( the thinnovation one) and i wanted the internet to go faster, so then when i did, smoke started to come out of the keyboard...

anyways, HP is a good brand. DON'T GET WINDOWS VISTA FOR THE PROGRAM. the internet is super slow, (no matter what kind you have) it takes a while for things to load, and its very frustrating.

Sony Vaio is a really good brand too. they have very durable laptops. Glad i could help!!!

I work for a computer industry and the best brands are Acer and umm i forgot the other brand but it was our top seller lol

I like what i've seen with HP pavilion models and Sony Vaio. I have a toshiba that gets very hot and the support webpage is terrible so I wouldn't buy a toshiba one again!

I also have a dell which i quite like.

Acer is also decent

If you had a bad experience with a Mac, you must have done something to it to make it happen. Usually Macs are awesome, and I wouldn't waste money on anything else.

Acer is good. U can also go for HP, dell, sony as per ur need n price

Acer is OK but the best brand I would recommend would be Vaio or Asus.

please please check this site out their customer service is the best as well as outstanding prices i buy computer parts their all the time when i feel the need to build you can also buy premade computers so you don't have to build and the laptops they have on that site are top notch for the price people write reviews about the product and they have videos of the products

macs and apples are gay, dont buy em, gayishly expensive for gay brand and computers, get a HP or Delll
