At home in my studio weaving away alike Penelope waiting for her beloved Ulysses. In the Greek Myth Penelope loved Ulysses as she knew she'd never love another.
Except Ulysses was on a quest of his own which took him traveling all over dangerous places, and challenged by the powerful influences of gods, sirens, dissatisfied queens which turned men callers into pigs, cyclops and other rather nasty creatures guarding their territory.
Penelope weaved away, day after day, into night hoping the cloak she was making for her beloved would be finished upon his arrival. Yet, as days passed and he had not returned in triumph she had sworn, in order to stay His, she'd un-weave, what was woven and begin again after AGAIN, Forever until he returned.
He did finally return..his great bravery leading him home, and her persistence and dedicated love alike NO other winning for one another
their eternal love.
