Who would be a good fantasy qb to draft round 3?

I am expecting Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Tony Romo, and Drew Brees 2 be off the board. Help!

The drafts I have been involved in the big three of Brady, Manning and Romo have been going in the first two rounds. So, 3rd round qb's I would say Carson Palmer, Drew Brees, Ben Rotheilsberger, and Donovan McNabb who is usually there rounds 3-5. Thos would be the guys I shoot for in round 3.

I would go with Derek Anderson or Jon Kitna. Hasselbeck is a solid QB, however with the loss of Hackett to Carolina and with Engram being out for 6-8 weeks, Seattle's receiving core is not very solid. Big Ben is good as well, however Pittsburgh will be pounding the ball a lot with Parker and Mendenhall, however they do have a couple of good receivers with Ward and Holmes. Anderson was great last season and has a top five receiver in Braylon Edwards and now has the option of going to Donte Stallworth as well. Kitna has the advantage of having Roy Williams and Calvin Johnson, plus a shaky running back group. Detroit will probably have to rely on Kitna's arm more than they did last year, unless Bell or Smith gets it going in the preseason.

Yes they will be off the board for sure so i would go for palmer, garrard, anderson, favre, or eli manning. The reason i say manning is because he has really matured since last year and i think is now ready to lead the giants. Before he was given a huge responsibility but now hes learned how to handle the pressure and i believe he will have an amazing year.

David's got it right - on most counts - at this point the best bet would be to wait another round or two and grab whoever is left - be it Garrard, Anderson, Favre, McNabb, Rodgers, Rivers...

You might think of waiting until round 5 & 6 to draft two straight QBs, hedge your bets so to speak...

Now I disagree with David about one thing...I'm in a keeper league & I'm keeping Bowe and Holmes - I have no problems relying on them as my top wide-outs, especially if I can mine the later rounds for a solid #3...

I don't think I would use a 3rd round pick on a QB then. After those guys...there isn't alot that seperates the next group of QBs. I would probably get a top WR or my 2nd RB then. If you are starting 3WRs, I think you almost have to take a WR by the 3rd round. Otherwise, you are stuck with D.Bowe and S.Holmes as your top two WRs.
