2005 Malibu Maxx rear wiper?
How do I replace the rear wiper on a 2005 Malibu Maxx? It came with nothing on it and even a blade replacement doesn't seem to work. I also can't figure out how to get the holder off to see if there is some trick. And for all those geniuses that are going to tell me to look in the manual...thought of that but I don't have one! Thanks

The manual won't help you much. I have a MAXX and following the manual caused me to break the darn thing. On my 2006 model the blade is actually inserted into a plastic channel before it goes onto the arm. Without that channel the blade will no stay secured to the arm.
I got lucky. I took the car in for a rear wiper motor repair and they assumed that they had broken the arm so they replaced it no charge. When it comes time to replace the blade I will try to slip the blade out of the channel and slip in another blade. That is the only way that I can see to do it. GOOD LUCK with ths one.

it should be a "clip-on" style and some of them are a bit-h to do. see the local dealer and be sure all the pieces are there on the car too. that may be the probem you're having is that there is some thing missing and it wont work for you now. these are usually an easy fix... like 10 seconds...
