Why does this same number always reoccur w/ me- since I was a child?

Since I was a little guy the number 141 has been following me around. School bus number 141, lived off exit 141, when I flip open books I often flip to page 141- phone calls are 1:41 a lot of time, I look at watch almost daily and it's 1:41, I see license plates w/ 141. Of course I may just be looking for it, but it still keeps popping up everywhere! What's the deal??

Update:

Just got my phone bill in the mail. $141.60

Update 2:

Of course I know I'm looking for the number but it does pop up often and random. I just think it's odd and that I keep seeing that number or variation of it. Even my first cell phones last four were 1441. When I buy lottery tickets I always pick 1 4 14 41- who knows, maybe it'll pay off!! I don't really care if I find an answer- just thought it'd be cool to hear what others think. I'll have you all seeing 141 before it's over :) 141 141 141 141 141 141 lol

wasn't there a recent movie about this, i think the number was 23.

but why do you want to find a reason in something which probably is random. there is nothing which requires the universe to provide meaning for things which happen. nothing would stop a coin from coming up heads a million times in a row, it could happen. just because the odds of something occur are remote, does not mean that there is a meaning behind it.

no doubt, if you are attuned to seeing 141 you will continue to do so. but realize that 141 is not the same as 1:41 am or $1.40. these are merely symbols which we use. for those societies which do not use arabic numbers, the particular order of 141 would be meaningless. for electronics and computers which make the displays of man of the 141's you see, that symbol also means nothing since they run on binary systems.

i think the deal is that you see a lot of 141 around you.

141 ,1.41,14.1 all are one.total 6 is a number controlled by venus.by astro-numerology probably u r having strong venus i u r h'scope.u can notice that every 6 th year from u r birth some important events in life occuring...it is for you-you were member in this y'.. answers since 14 -02-2006. add month and year makes 10 .add 1&0 makes 1.in turn the number 14..1 you got..dont u feel.by the way why should u worry if 141 always reoccur.it is your lucky no.let it pop up and bring u luck..for more analysis yoy have to resort to astrology/numerology in relation to u r name & birth data.

A lot of numbers pop through all our lives. Some have more significance than others. Our brains are hard-wired to notice patterns, and will even force an idea of patterns when they aren't really there.

This first few times you noticed it was coincidence. After that, when you became conscious of it, your mind naturally went looking for it whenever/wherever it appeared. If you do a study, you'll find that many other numbers will pop in and out of your life with the same regularity. But right now, your brain is letting you ignore all the rest of them because it's keyed on that one particular number.

You find what you're looking for. I remember many years ago I owned a blue Dodge Caravan. Before I bought my minivan, I'd never noticed a blue Dodge Caravan on the road. But, after I owned one, I saw them everywhere.

It sounds like you're obsessing about that number. Go to a bookstore and find a book on OCD that has a help section in it. I'd try and fix this before it becomes a larger issue. Good luck.
