Is Bigfoot Real? Today there will be a press release and the DNA evidence will be disclosed to the public ?

Do you believe in the mysterious Bigfoot? If so, why?

If they find evidence that this entity is infact a rare primate,or is real - Do you think this will be evidence enough to make the scientific community rethink about other mysterious creatures/beings; lockness monster, chupacabra, aliens, and ghosts.

Could this be a new beginning for people to start opening up and believing?

If they find actual DNA, they could indicate if it was between a chimp and a human for example. They wouldn't need bigfoot DNA to confirm it. For some reason, lots of educated people make this mistake. Anyway, bigfoot is real, Biscardy is a hoax. I can almost guarantee that something will come up and they will suggest a future press release. It is unfortunate that crackpots like Biscardi are taken seriously. It truly harms the cause of informing people about the actual creature. Chupacaras and lochness are likely just other animals. For example, Chupa are dogs and lochness is a sturgeon. As far as aliens and ghosts, I wouldn't say it would have a bearing on that. Assuming I am wrong and this thing turns out to be real (1 in a million chance IMO) then at least it would prove to some that we don't know as much as some think which is certainly true. That is my opinion anyway.

Although man believes he has a pretty thorough understanding about our planet and universe, I think that the knowledge we possess has barely scratched the surface about what is really going on.

I believe there are all kinds of mysteries right here on this planet and that Bigfoot is one of them. Yes, I believe that FINALLY they have found a true Bigfoot and I knew all along that it would take an actual "body" to to dispel all of the doubters out there. It has taken awhile, but it is a big country (and world because other types of Bigfoot have been seen elsewhere), but I knew it would eventually happen. You can tell that this is different from the other times of movies, and pictures, and sightings. The entire interview with the people who found the Bigfoot had an entirely different aura about it.

In the next couple months all the doubters will find out what is actually our ancestry and how we really came about being.

The Missing Link has been FOUND!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe in bigfoot, but if you're asking if the Georgia bigfoot is real, then no. The finders have ruined their credibility by changing their story and bragging about it, in addition to bringing bigfoot fraud Tom Biscardi to test its authenticity. They're just in it for the fame and the money, not for proving Bigfoot's existence. Sadly, this might make people even more skeptical since the corpse is said to look like a Bigfoot Halloween costume. Real professionals are also picking apart the corpse making it look more fake than ever. Sorry to dampen your hopes, but this probably won't be the bigfoot discovery that makes everyone a believer.

Problem is this: For DNA to successfully identify anything there has to be something in the DNA database to compare it to. If you find wolf's hair it can be identified as such because there is wolf's hair in the database to compare it to. With Big Foot its always been:

Hair from unknown primate... Blood from unknown primate, etc, etc...

I hope they finally do get to the bottom of this but I'm still skeptical. As far as the Chupacabras is concerned the DNA evidence harvested from that dead Chupacabras in Cuero, TX. turned out to be that of a canine with terminal mange. In other words, a mangy feral dog or coyote that had developed an affinity for bleeding its prey to death then lapping up the blood.

Bigfeet have managed to avoid human detection or capture since they were first found, what makes you think someone suddenly found one now? I mean, why haven't we found carcasses before if they die and leave their bodies? Who knows, maybe they are intelligent and hide or bury their dead so we cant find them, but the thing is, we did not find a bigfoot. And DNA samples? What are they going to compare it with? It could be something completely different from the Bigfeet species...You know, maybe Bigfeet can be warded off the same way as bears...with the Hokey Pokey! Virtual Goose lol

I am a believer and was excited about this story. After hearing the DNA test results and seeing the press confrence, I just don't know. I guess we will have to wait to see is this so called "autopsy" will be done. If this does turn out to be real, this would change the evolution ladder. One can only hope.

Its a fake! Human pyschology depicts the truth more then photos and so called evidence. When these clowns (I forgot their names) found the body of bigfoot they've said they weren't bigfoot enthusiasts but it was reported that they sold bigfoot merchandise, that in itself already loses credibility. Also, if you look at the interview (I think his name was tom) he wasn't a very good liar see how many times he blinks liars tend to blink more.

The Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization has ruled it to be a hoax. Check out their page.

It's interesting but no evidence. One picture of a pile of fur with a head laying in a freezer isn't that convincing.

I want to believe but so far there is nothing.

I'll believe it when it is examined and tested by authorities in Zoology and samples of the DNA reveal it to be a previously undiscovered species.
