Why isn't this woman being charged with child neglect?
A 3-year-old boy was left in his mother's truck in 90-degree heat as she worked her shift at a hospital, then wriggled free from his car seat and even tried to start the ignition or open the windows before he died, officials said.
The mother of Cameron Thomas Boone told investigators she FORGOT to drop him off at day care. She returned to the truck about NINE hours later to find him unconscious Thursday.
No charges have been filed.
You read about mothers quickly running into the store leaving their child in the car and they get arrested. NINE HOURS though!
That should be prison time for her!

I agree. Not only should she be charged with felony child neglect, she should be charged with 2nd degree manslaughter, too.

report Contempt for non-charge of baby help. do no longer tell your SD approximately those alleged visits. If her mom calls or stops by using for a pass to, great. If no longer, your SD is none the wiser, and the fewer she might have her little heart broken.

Maybe they're still investigating. Perhaps he was sleeping and she had so much on her mind she forgot he was there??? Not that I can imagine that being a mom myself. Anyway, I agree if she left him there, intentional or not, it's neglect.

I definatley agree. But, maybe the mom will just feel guilty about it everyday. Thats soo sad.

I agree, the mother should be charged, this act is unacceptable and the mother is irresponsable in my opinion.

Won't bring the child back, will it?
I think she's going to suffer more than enough.
And it's possible the child crawled in there unbeknownst to her.
