What do you think of the name Arnold?
My fiance and I are expecting our first child in October. He likes the name Arnold, whereas I am not too keen on it. I was just after your honest opinions on the name.
Any other suggestions of classic names for boys?

In my opinion Arnold is kind of an older man's name. I wouldn't name my son Arnold. However, you could use it as a middle name and have something a lil softer for the first.
I like Wesley & Joseph, for older names. They aren't too harsh either.
Joseph Arnold sounds nice.

I don't really like the name Arnold, Arnie actually sounds better.
I'm a male, 13 and a half years old, and my name is Shannon. I've always liked my name but here are a few suggestions:
Arnie
Christopher
Jack
David
or Sean.
Those are my favorite names. I think you should go with one of those definitely.

When i was younger, i had a neighbor named arnold, he was such a douche. He was an alcoholic and i think he sold drugs. He used to yell at me all the time for just WALKING in front of his house and making his dogs bark. He was such a meanie, so ive formed a bias against anyone with the name arnold. So if by weird chance i chose to be a teacher and then one day your baby grew up and was one of my students, i would prolly give him a bad grade just for his name!
I like arthor better. :) but congrats on the baby!
im sure he will be lovely even if his name is arnold. gag.
