i strongly recommend that u dont do it. have someone behind u do it for free. i know its just split ends but what if u mess up a little bit and then ull have to pay money to have it fixed. but if ur that determined to do it urself there are alot of you tube vids. http://www.instructables.com/id/How-To-Cut-Your-Ow...

Well i`d say its just better to go to a cheap salon and just get a trim, thats what i do. But you can also take all of your hair while its wet and hold it up (on top of you hear..right in the middle) and then just cut whatever amont you want to in a straight line. This will give you layera evrywhere in your hair and it looks amazing! Make sure to use haircuting scisors though!
** i found this picture that shows the center of the top of your head, where all the red lines meet, thats were you hair should all be gathered up..like if you are making a pony tail there.

Dont! Please dont cut your own hair it will never be straight.
If you really are going to do this use 3 mirrors stand behind one, in frount of one and at the side of one and trim carefully in sections. OR try putting ur hair into even bunches on either side of your head and do it in one go - just trim the ends off.
Good luck!

i usually cut mine after i shower, that way its still wet, and i just cut a little bit at a time, in little sections until im done. and i dont cut more that like 1/2 an inch or less, that way if it is uneven, its hardly noticeable... hope this helps :-)
