I am a serial hostess. Why do I always end up entertaining 20 ppl or more?

you need to put your foot down and not let people take advantage of you. your the one offering to host, if you dont want to dont, you are allowed to say no you know

You must be great at it, or they wouldn't keep coming back. Maybe you should let someone else volunteer to hostess the next get together.

i think you probably have an emotional need to be surrounded by people all the time. you want their approval so you entertain as many as you can. this is just my guess though
