Hospice experiences (good or bad)?

hello glad u asked this question, about 1 month ago we were planning on putting my grandmother into a hospice (she was a terminal cancer victim)anywho we checked out a horizon hospital in El Paso tx and it was horrible,i suggest your neighbors dont go to a hospice because they lie to you. We saw old people walking around and an old man without his shirt off yelling and it was like a mad house, I cant believe some people are mean enough to throw their parents into a hospice when they are dying. I chose to keep my grandmother with me at home until she died because she worked so hard her whole life, regardless she deserved to die with her loved ones. I suggest dont go to a hospice because its not luxurious. If they want a decent hospice then they are going to ahve to pay about 2k a month for one.
