Yeh, but thats the English for you, Australia has one third of the population of England, yet we are a hundred times better than the Poms!

no it is not unfair. and it has nothing to do with the fact that they have more people than Australia.
The UK unite for the olympics because they have to due to the fact that there is only one olympic committee but for European competitions such as football (soccer) they have the right to compete separately as they do for the rugby world cup.
And may I remind Me Again that it was those Poms that beat Australia at the last Rugby World Cup, so obviously you are not, "a hundred times better than the Poms!"

maybe us brits think its unfair that the usa is a much bigger land mass than the uk so you have more people to pick from!
seriously though you shouldn't be in for the winning, its the coming together and competing that matters. Isn't that what the olympics is meant to be all about??

they do the same in cricket, get players from round the world and call them England
