I WANNA GO BAAAACK TO PHILMONT!
It is just such a beautiful country to be in, I loved every minute of the two treks I have been on
725-CX - 2007 - Cavalcade horse packing trek, we went 40 miles in a week and almost got killed on top of mount baldy
622-MM1 - 2008 - International trek, 5 scouts from around the world and 5 scouts from around the country, fully paid by the international devision. we did 40 miles in 4 days backpacking.

I agree with you totally. Although, I would put up the Boundary Waters of Minnesota for consideration. The BWCAW is a great place, just did 77 miles in a week.
