What is going on with this site?

Is it just me? I spend twenty minutes typing an answer and when I try to post it it I am informed the site is taking a breather. The leader boards have not been updated for a month, trying to get a satisfactory answer from anyone, as to what the problem, is an exercise in futility. I am thinking of taking a permanent break from this site.

Hi John, this is Mak. Hope you remember me.

Friend, I know it is really frustrating. I suffered from it and took a long break of 2 months. But I am back now, with a new energy. If you are really tired of all this I suggest you to take a break but not to leave permanently.

You yourself would have noticed that, your knowledge has increased tremendously during your stay with the "Answers!". You cannot leave this as easily as you think. It is better you take a break and come back with a bang.

I hope you recover your frustration fast.

    :-)

You can't take a permanent break from this site. This website, the colors, the fonts, the layouts, the whole process has a unique effect on the brain similar to that of crack cocaine. It stimulates the pleasure centers of the brain causing the release of feel good endorphins, so, you see, you can't. These coffee breaks are deliberate to try to slow you down and get you kicked off leaderboards. You are level 7 and have more than 25,000 points and over one years experience. If you tried quitting you would suffer withdrawal symptoms such as increased nervousness and agitation, smoking more than usual, and even an increase in autoerotic activity.
