I keep getting notified about powerpoint viewer 2003 update but it keeps saying that it can't install.?

It's an important update my computer needs...I've deleted space and ran spy and virus problems that come up clean.Any help would be so appreciated...

Update:

It keeps having me turn the computer off to install the update but it never installs.It's an important update but it fails to install for some strange reason.I've ran both spy and anti-virus software that come up clean...as well as emptied out the trash/recycle bin to free up space and I don't know what to do,any helpful suggestions would be so appreciated.
