start>all programs>accessories>sytem tools>Disk Defragmenter

ok all u have to do is check some stuff

ok now u have to check which drive u downloaded the sims 2 on

u shouldn't downlode it on drive C cuz that will slow it down and slow ur computer down cuz of its big memory ok soo i have the sims 2 on my compouter with all th expantion stuff and crap and its fine and fast and everything is fine ok i downloded it on drive E

ok all u have to doo is make a folder on drive E and call it what ever u want for example Program File ok then make a folders in the folder for each of the folowing

the sims 2 oroginal-delux-doble delux

and any of the expantions packs u have on

then wen u downlode them put each one in its own folder and that should do the trick

you can try doing a disk cleanup. i have sims2 also and its superr slow. but if i restart my computer before i run it sometimes it goes faster. but really its just a large program.

Do a disk cleanup and defragmentation. If that doesn't work get more RAM and a better video card.
