what to expect first day as a new associate project manager? ?
i used to work as a business analyst earlier. ive done my CAPM from PMI (proj managment institute) ive enough theoretical knowledge and some practical whatever i could gain from the course through lectures and demo projects but in actual workplace im wondering how it would be , what all will be expected of me from day 1. anyone in similar situation ...id appreciate all the help i can get thanks in advance

The same as the first day anyplace, doing almost anything... listen!
New start for you, new start for your colleagues, too.
They have complaints, ideas, input, experiences that you don't.
Listen!
You can judge later which one's are crackpots (if any) but day 1 listen.
Your manager will also have some input, listen to that too!
Then sift through what you've heard.
Beginnings only happen once.
