No. Everything had to go right for him this time, and it did.
Again, he will be going against specialists in each different stroke like he did this year. The biggest variable, though, are the team relays, where he has to rely on his teammates and not just his own ability.
For him to do what he did this year was asking a lot, but he came through. To ask him to do it again -- I'm taking the field on this one.

maybe, or maybe not. I'm not so sure. His race against Cavic was won by 0.01 of a second, 3 of his races were relays, as he depended on teammates. But, he won other of those races fairly easily, so it is possible that he could. Then again, there will be new athletes that might beat it. Maybe not in this next Olympiad, but in future ones.

Not likely at all. Swimmers tend to grow older and slower faster than say, competitive rifle shooting. No, this will be his last olympics, and that record should last for a LONG time.
Mark my words- a LONG time.
