Define cowardice and what a coward really is!?

Cowardice-the refusal to do what is right.

Coward-One who chooses selfish comfort or ignorance over actions and deeds that good, true, and right, even when those deeds are difficult or frightening.

Define Coward

I don't think you're a coward.

I think a coward is someone who intentionally evades his responsibilities and only sits there whining their asses off about life being hard when in reality it's no harder than anyone elses.

I'm glad you've raised your family, and properly I assume- you are one of the few. So many fathers are abandoning families.... it's sad

Anyway I was answering this because you answered my question, my JOKE question, my SARCASTIC question (about Obama and Bidens names), saying something like I'm in 6th grade for the 3rd time.... Just wanted to let you know, yes, it was a joke. I'm not really an idiot (though I don't blame you for taking it seriously, there really are people that dumb on here.)

First of all let me thank you for serving our country and for being a proud American. About being a coward, well, most of us we are but for different reasons and it is something that is inside of us that is called being defensive, it is something that keep us alive and living. So don't pay any attention to these type of people that only call everybody a coward but most likely they don't know the meaning of the word and or they are more of a coward for not respecting a true American hero that have proved them self. Thank you again and don't worry about words that that is all they are...

cowardice is lack of bravery.

for me, I think you are not a coward. but if someone told someone that he/she is a coward, it doesn't mean that he is a coward as a whole being, maybe that someone is referring to one instance that even though you know it's the right thing to do, you refuse to do it. for example a family man, even he's strong in all aspects, since he a family he needs to consider it, he is not making decision on his own.

Courage is standing up for what you feel is right even though it may cause you personal suffering. Cowardice is the opposite.

cowardice is not fighting for something you love/like/believe in and a coward is someone who does not fight for that something.
