Are Chinchilla's Non-Allergic ?
I would like to have an chinchilla but I am afraid that they may have an effect to my allergies . I am also alergic to cats , I know that the Chinchilla is part of the rabbit and Pig Family but I need more information .

A chinchilla is a great pet but sometimes the shed...a lot. My father is also allergic to cats and when he is around my chinchilla Cosmo, he often gets really itchy and his eyes get puffy. this happens to my friends Andrea and amanda as well (they also have cat allergies). I would suggest getting tested because everyone is different and you might not be allergic like my friends and family.
