How do you like this LGBT-relevant poem?

I went to the Garden of Love,

And saw what I never had seen;

A Chapel was built in the midst,

Where I used to play on the green.

And the gates of this Chapel were shut

And "Thou shalt not," writ over the door;

So I turned to the Garden of Love

That so many sweet flowers bore.

And I saw it was filled with graves,

And tombstones where flowers should be;

And priests in black gowns were walking their rounds,

And binding with briars my joys and desires.

- "The Garden of Love", William Blake

Update:

It's about the tyranny of religious dogma - Blake was disgusted by the oppression of orthodox religion and the way it sought to crush innocent and natural joys. Another great quote of his is: "Prisons are built with stones of Law, Brothels with bricks of Religion. As the caterpillar chooses the fairest leaves to lay her eggs on, so the priest lays his curse on the fairest joys."

Update 2:

I find it LGBT relevant because religious orthodoxy and its blindness to the beauty of all love, regardless of gender, is a terrible sickness in this world, and perhaps the greatest obstacle to the happiness of GBLT people.

    It's good, but I really don't see it as GLBT related necessarily.

    Can you explain why you think it's GLBT themed?
