Are Venus and Serena Williams playing doubles at the US Open this year?

The draw for the US Open will be announced at 11:00am today--I can't say for sure, but I would be very surprised if they were not in the doubles. When they are healthy they usually do play singles and doubles and I think that their Wimbledon and Olympic championships have them really pumped up.

Yeah unfortunately the draws aren't out yet but considering they're performance in Beijing I'd say they definitely will be playing in the doubles, no question whatsoever.

The Draws will be posted today and i will be sure to post them when they come to show you that they are. but i am 99.999999% sure they will. they play doubles in every grand slam and they just won the olympics together. its a safe bet that they will but i will post the draws when they are up. hope this helps :)

considering how good theyve played together this year, winning wimbledon and the olympics together, they would play together. and are probably one of the favorites to win the title
