Just wondering what type of pitcher claudio vargas is...Is he a relief pitcher or a starting pitcher because im confused in yahoo sports it says he is a relief pitcher but in cbs sports it says he is a starting pitcher so im stumped

He is a starter. He started for Milwaukee last year as the 5th starter. He occasionally did have a relief appearance when there were off days (4 man rotation). I believe he even picked up a save or two if my memory serves me correctly.

He's a starting pitcher, and is fairly talented.
The Brewers released him in the offseason because we really didn't need him.
