I think new hires start off at about $12 - $15 an hour. Then, once you actually start working in the field, you're eligible for sales bonuses for selling extra services to the customers. After 90 days, you're then eligible for a raise.
It's been a while since I was a cable TV technical trainer. But, my wife's son did that a couple years ago and I think that's about what he started at.
