If it is BT every time, or whoever it is making marketing calls, then you can sue them, it was successfully done recently, they have a code of conduct and repeatedly bothering people, especially someone in your situation with your parents out of the house, is harassment. Call your parents and let them know, get them to use a signal, like two rings, put the phone down then ring back so that you know it's them on the phone and wont miss their calls, then when home get them to make an official complaint to BT.
Don't be scared honey, I would ignore it personally, did your parents give you any guidelines for situations like this? What would they want you to do, try thinking like them, I think they'd prefer you were safe so don't answer it if you don't want to, you are under no obligation to do so.

You're not gonna get raped should you don't provide them any knowledge.. Lol you cannot see the number from your mobilephone however try contacting your mobile cellphone enterprise and notice if they're able to see personal calls. Or call the police and inform them you're consistently being harassed through a confidential caller, just make certain you maintain the call occasions for proof. And often it could simply be a friend or loved ones member messing round with you.

It depends....do your parents allow you to answer the phone when they are out? If not, just ignore it. If they don't have an issue with it, answer it ans tell them the bill payer is unable to come to the phone right now, so please call back tomorrow (or whenever you know your parents will be home). If you're that concerned, maybe call your parents on their mobile/work phones or whatever and give them the number. That way, they can contact them immediately and you won't get anymore calls.

Yeah, it keeps ringing at my house too! It's just BT, or people out of the area for selling stuff. My mum picked it up once and told them she isn't interested but they ring alot still. One time, pick it up and tell them that your not interested and they should leave you alone for a while.

It's a BT number for their overseas sales and marketing. Trying to sell you something!
Answer it, and say they will need to phone later when the bill payer is there (don't say you are alone). At least it will stop them ringing for the time being.

I googled it and it appears that it is from someone claiming to be BT, but possibly not!

Alternatively, just put the whole number in google and see what comes up!

i used to have someone that rang me constantly and i had no ida who it was either.
one time they rang and i picked up the phone......all the peron said was hello and then they hung up and never rang me again.
i think that you should telll your parents and then the next time this person rings get ur dad or whoever to pick it up and tell them to leave you alone.
