What is the pronunciation of Imogen?
I'm just wondering if I'm saying it correctly. It's a name I really don't like, it just doesn't sound nice to me. I see in posts here that quite a few do like it. So, what is the correct pronunciation? Maybe a different pronunciation will change my mind on it.
Thanks!

IMOGEN
Gender: Feminine
Usage: English (British)
Pronounced: IM-ə-jən [key]
The name of a princess in the play 'Cymbeline' (1609) by Shakespeare. He based her on a legendary character named Innogen, but the name was printed incorrectly and never corrected. The name Innogen is probably derived from Gaelic inghean meaning "maiden".

ACK. I have only known ONE person that said that name and I can't believe it's here now. The same person that mentioned this name had a boy and named him MY boy name. LOL. She pronounced it "Em-O-Jen".
