Disney dining plan gratuity?
They say that there is an automatic 18% gratuity added to table service parties of 6 or more. Does this apply to buffets? If so, that's nuts! You serve yourself and pay an 18% gratuity?

Yes, they do apply the gratuity no matter what sitdown restaurant you choose to eat at. And I agree, it is unfair to do that for buffets.

I just ate at a Disney Buffet with a Party of 8 people & they did automatically charge 18% gratuity to our check.
It may not sound right but it is their policy.

I don't think it should apply if you are having to clear your plates, etc. But, if someone is bringing you drinks, other things like utencils, plates, napkins, etc. They should be compensated with a gratuity. 18% is steep if you are doing alot of this yourself, I agree with that.

I dont think so but hey its disney and if it does spelt yr group up and say this parts with me and the other isnt and there u go
