Gas dripping from a tube at the bottom of my carburetor?

I have a Honda 50 dirt bike which is 4 years old and has been used very little. I took it out today for the first time in a year. It ran fine, but quite a bit of gasoline dripped from a short black tube which comes out of the bottom of the carburetor. What is the tube for and why would it be dripping so much?

needle & seat is leaking or the floats need resetting..

its an overflow tube for when the carbies have to much fuel in them..

the first answer is probably the most likely but don't forget to check the float bowl drain screw. It may be seeping.
