what rotors will fit on 55 chev spindles,?

Update:

i know they make a kit to solve this, i also know that the rotors from some chevelle body style gm cars will fit so if you can't give a better answer than the ones i have gotten then don't answer the ?

    I can't answer that Q exact but you will find it hard work to fit something else on there. You Can buy the entire disk brake kit (master cylinder, lines, proportion valve, flex lines, rotors, disk, calipers and brakes for $450.) I have a 1957 (same thing) and that is what I am doing. Oh and the master cylinder is a dual reservoir

    If memory serves right it is the ones from a nova or firebird, there are alot of kits out the available to do the swap ,come come with the rotors etc and some come wit brackets only and they tell what rotors etc to use.

    I did mine , but that was over 15 years ago, so i dont remember exactly.

    There are no rotors on a 55 only drums unless if you did an upgrade but get the same ones

    i think a 55 had drum brakes. if your going to change drum to rotors, you need more then rotors.

    I think you will need to replace the spindles if you are changing to from drum brakes to disk brakes.
