Tampon Trouble, Any Advice?

Whenever I start my period, I can never use tampons simply because the don't work. No matter what size I use (from slimfit to super plus), I always leak as if I don't have a tampon in. Keeping in mind that I am a virgin, what's wrong with me??

Update:

I don't leave them in for very long. Like I'll have one in for 20 minutes and it'll start leaking, and this is on and extremely light day. And I don't use them frequently, only for dance and swimming purposes.

Well you could just have a heavy flow. It could also be because you are leaving them in to long. I suggest going to a doctor. Does it leak heavily or just a little, because you could always wear a panty liner and then your tampon if its just a little.

Maybe you should try birth control. It will regulate your periods and make them lighter.

It should not be "unbearably painful" to insert a tampon which makes me ask your self the place you're putting it! be helpful which you're putting it into the middle hollow-- the only that is placed only handed the labia. that's proper to relax your muscle mass so the tampon will slide in greater truly. Sitting on the rest room or status with one foot on it is your proper wager for hassle-free insertion. Push it up so some distance as you could circulate (that's impossible to wander away so do no longer complication approximately that) and enable the string dangle out. The greater effective up it sits, the fewer you will experience it.

well they will leak if you leave them in for a long period of time, but if they leak after only an hour or so, consider going to the doctor. they can give you birth control pills that will regulate your periods and make them lighter. they also help control acne! it's a win win situation!

    good luck!

how long are you keeping them in for? you should always change a tampon at least every 3 hours. being a virgin is nothing to do with it. are you putting them in right? the way to know its in right is that u cant feel that its there. read the instructions carefully

you have a really heavy flow. use a tampon but maybe put a pad on too. change it like every hour. but this shouldnt be happening. it may be embarassing but ask a doctor what you should do. or go on the pill that would help
