Well, it is a lot, but it's not to much if you put your mind towards succeding. With sports, schedules tend to be somewhat flexible for practices, so you can try to work with that. With your work, see if you can bring your homework with you & finish it up there. make sure, above all, that you're getting your homework done (i know, not your top priority :P) because, trust me, falling behind is much worse than not getting to be on the bball team. It will cause you way to much stess. But i think with good planning & scheduling, you can pull it off! :D

    Good luck!

These three sports don't all happen at the same time, do they? They have different seasons? If that's the case, keep them all.

Here's what I do: take six advanced classes, with homework in each every night. I start my homework the minute I get home, break an hour for dinner and a shower, and keep working till usually about midnight. If your class schedule looks like that, there is no way on this earth that you could even play sports. So it all depends. If you get, say, one or two hours of homework a night and play a sport, you'll be fine.

Now, about work; here's what I do- I told my manager right away that I could only work four hours a week- and only on weekends. Your manager can't expect you to work seven days a week. If you genuinely NEED money, though, then this won't work.

if the job you just got hired at can be flexible with hours, then you should be alright. you just need to learn to prioritize and balance everything. i was going to try cheerleading and a job this year, (my sophmore year) but they scheduled me for everyday they were open and had such a small staff that only one person a day could be gone, everyone else HAD to come in, so i had to quit. but if they are going to be flexible with you and understand that you have other commitments, it shouldnt be too bad. besides, the sports are at different times, and shouldnt overlap, so it will be a steady commitment throughout the year.

    hope it helped!

I'd say that it is a little too much. One sport and school is enough..

But, if you really think you can do it, more power to you.

I just say that you should remember that school is more important so if you find it to be too hard, I would stop working depending on whether you like work or sports more.

    Good luck with handling everything.

I personally think it is too much. I am a junior in high school and i have played up to two sports in a year. With work and athletics it is definitely challenging to keep up with your homework and studying.

ask yourself how well you know the school? is it public and know what the curriculums like? if its public and you know high schoolers or a sibling went there, and the curriculums manageable, than i say got for it. if you dont or its a private school than id say dont do anything for the first semester at least. i do volleyball, indoor and outdoor track, play for my travel soccer team have a job and i still maintain a 93% average so its possible to stay on your game. id say focus on your academics the first semester, but if your smart, and can really juggle i say go for it because it is possible.

I doubt you will be doing all three sports at once. Job will teach you responsibility. Homework will teach you time management. Sounds fine..

Well it depends how much you play those sports. My friend was really into soccer and she could barely get through school with that one sport. She had practice and games and all that stuff that interfered with studying

Somewhat yes but then no cause it's good for your age. At least u ain't laying around being lazy like half the kids at your school are. Think of it this way u have a better chance to do something with your life then some of the kids these days.

its possible but its a bad idea.

u would need a planner and schedule carefully, ur gonna have to give up alot of fun in your life...i know kids in high school who did it...but one dude slept all the way through french class and then started wondering why he failed and was in night school...it can be done its just highly looked down on.

but the kids that do do it, typically take simple classes...i know the kids who take advance classes, bank on LOTS of coffee and advil.
